On Wednesday, January 4th 2023, a Holy Hour with vespers and prayers for the dead will be held at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception at 6:00 pm.
On Thursday, January 5th 2023, Bishop Talley will celebrate a Memorial Mass for Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception at 7:00 pm.
The Secretariat for Divine Worship of the USCCB has provided a novena for Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI.

The prayers are appropriate for a period of mourning and should begin on the day of the funeral – Thursday, January 5th. They will conclude on January 13th.
