This year marks the 65th Anniversary of Holy Rosary proclaiming the Gospel to East Memphis! We are thankful that as a parish we have many active ministries of service and devotion. These ministries, such as the St. Vincent de Paul and Good Samaritan ministries, are funded throughout the year. However, no collections are taken up to maintain and enhance the beauty of our parish liturgies. As we continue to serve, we also need to take time to recognize that our altar, where the ultimate Sacrifice takes place, needs our attention. The Eucharist is to be “the source and summit” of our Christian life. Everything we do, all our ministries, all the corporal and spiritual works of mercy that we accomplish, are only possible because we have first been to the altar of praise and sacrifice together. So not only is it important that we celebrate the liturgy worthily and well, but, we also want to make sure that the items we need to celebrate Mass are in good repair. This is why for this year’s “I Give Catholic” we are asking for help to enhance the liturgical grandeur and beauty of Holy Rosary. We need new Altar Linens and Altar cloths. We also need to repair some altar ware, as well as, purchase some other liturgical supplies. We would love your support to help us enhance the dignity of our parish liturgies. Please prayerfully consider a gift to help us keep Holy Rosary beautiful for the next 65 years!
